Applied Behavior Analyst buy in US, Free Classifieds Ads

The Applied Behavior Analyst is responsible for direct therapy with patients and parents admitted to the Center for Pediatric Feeding Disorders. Coordinates behavioral treatment with other care providers. Supports hospital?s mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting agency standards and obtaining appropriate certification.


JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Demonstrates competency in the skills required by the facility on at least a bi-annual basis.


2. Collaborates with team members from Speech, Nutrition, and Medicine, to assess and treat children with feeding disorders.


3. Assists clinicians with baselines and in the development of behaviorally based, integrated, treatment plans. Defines interventions so that the changes to be achieved are measurable.


4. Provides behavioral consultation/teaching/training to clinicians.


5. Provides direct services to children with feeding disorders based on the unique needs of each individual patient.


6. Conducts behavioral assessments for non-feeding behaviors.


7. Conducts parent training in feeding protocols/child behavioral management.


8. Conducts fidelity checks of treatment implementation.


9. Analyzes personal, social, and environmental conditions to better understand the variables that are influencing behavior.


10. Conducts behavioral observations, reinforcer assessments, and parent interviews.


11. Collects, compiles and analyzes data accurately for the purposes of treatment planning and outcome reporting.


12. Assists clinicians with training caregivers in treatment protocols prior to discharge from Feeding Program.


13. Provides consultation services to school, daycare, and extended family regarding following the behavior management program that has been established.


14. Provides periodic consultation to the inpatient psychologist and team for both feeding and non-feeding behaviors.


15. Completes documentation in a timely manner.


16. Consults daily with therapists concerning treatment protocols.


17. Integral part of orienting and training new staff to Feeding Program concerning behavioral principles.


18. Attends weekly team conferences, team meetings, in-services, and department meetings and serves on a variety of patient care and strategic planning committees as assigned by Director.


19. Attends clinic evaluations and contributes to team report.


20. Provides consultation with Community based therapists relating to clinic patients and discharged Day patients.


21. Manages all behavioral outcome data and reports to QI and Leadership.


22. Cooperates and consults with appropriate staff to provide staff education when requested.


23. Participates in the quality improvement program of the facility.


24. Participates in research projects as available.
